Can A Cup Of Tea Raise The Fasting Sugar Level?

Stammtischbär

The highlight of last week was the so-called Stammtisch on Thursday here in Jyväskylä. No, this has master table has a slightly different meaning than that one, as a German might is right in the sense (old men sit smoking and beer drinking in the back room of an old corner bar), trunk table here is the biweekly held party for international students Jyväskylä, organized by and for exchange students. The opening was then so last week, with the motto "Finnish Sports." That has been reflected in some outfits and probably in a few games, I'm told - I've actually stopped most of the time on the dance floor, with lots of nice people and too much bad music. This is in fact on the cheap beer explain;) but was a very nice party until the end. There are finally some pictures were demonstrable. These older along with a few that have so far managed to not have the photo album, can you here survey. It is after two months have some time to show you who I'm here so spend my time.

The weekend was very quiet on the contrary, to Thursday, and consisted largely of only two cozy movie nights with a mix of French animation, Japanese, Thriller, Action Hollywood and British humor (Monty Python which).

did on Sunday then I once made the trip to my "family". This is, as some already described, from the parents Jukka and Heini, five children - forget and two cats (name - Iiri (16) Milka (14), Miiro (12), Pihla (10) and Salli (7). ..). They have a beautiful house in Tikkakoski, 20 km north of Jyväskylä, and stay as idyllic lakeside. A dream! All I have been very nice and I like the first full family program experience: lunch and drinking coffee, walking on the lake and in the end still a hockey game Miiro (Tikkakoski against Jyväskylä - final 1:11 ...). A very nice day with many new experiences.

Jukka and Heini:

Monday and Tuesday were a bit plain and very nice weather, which I then sometimes used to capture the autumnal atmosphere, in photos, even a little bit about you what of the city and the campus to show .

Bikini Wax Koh San Road

Kulturbär

Again a week including weekends around. Suomi 2 calls so far but not as much attention, thought to be, and otherwise I am currently out of time to eat only for a lecture at the university. In my "free time" I have to then somehow the self-study courses, the Travel, the Internet, the parties and work at home get under one umbrella. But will already be - all just a matter of organization ... and motivation;) Runs Sagn ma.

Autumn is here now really taken hold everywhere and done it quite wide. That is a lot of rain, but there are beautiful sunny days, where you can enjoy the fall colors and the fresh cool air. On Friday I was once made in Jyväskylä on the way and took some photos . And I'm passed the tower and climbed up straight times (Okay, down ...). In addition, I have the chance to visit some museums scoured the city (always admission is free on Fridays), except for Alvar Aalto Museum was not enough time. This will be rescheduled at another time.

Saturday I was back on the road, but this time only for a day in Tampere, with about Lena Let us be a bit Bremen feeling and look to the city. The Moomin Museum was great - but photography was not allowed: (We had been processed but also probably the biggest attraction and are among several coffee breaks or at the amusement park and art gallery arrived (of course everything is closed! winter season is here already ...). It was then the observation tower, which has at least brought us another nice overview of Tampere and the surrounding area. Otherwise, Tampere even a city ...

evening was still hot in Jyväskylä happy-hour tour and jazz concert. Sunday I had to sleep and to finish first Laang gabs in the evening or a cozy "original" Romanian-Canadian Barbeque outside the front door. On fire, keep to the autumn cold even in some degree.

And last night I was the first time some of my Finnish friendship family taken. Pretty exciting. But, I think, got a good family, all are very kind. Jukka, the father was there, and two of the five children, Iiri (16) and Milka (14). The ice has broken a bit first. For the weekend, I am invited, I'll see how it looks with the other family members. Finnish culture up close and in color.

Which Wire Do I Cross On My Stereo

Tallinnbär

Always on the go! Tallinn last weekend was our goal. went from there by ferry from Helsinki to Estonia down. In Tallinn's old town, I felt like a huge open-air museum, are on every corner, there are countless beautiful old Houses and churches. Of course, all very touristy. But the trip has been worth it - not only because of the old town, but also because of the bottles of wine that we are finally there could again provide for the more moderate prices. Then, however, have not so blatantly kept up with the Finns, the crates of alcohol as have dragged home. So desperate then we still were not. Therefore, the weekend consisted then mainly of walking, churches and towers to explore, evenings with Mau-Mau, Estonian beer and wine, a few hours on the ferry and lots of blue sky. Accordingly, the photos have become.

In wandering all over the trips I had almost forgotten why I'm doing here in Finland, but the university has yet then made sure that my intention is again invaded ... Study indicated. Yesterday started Suomi 2, again a very international course with japanilainen, meksikolainen, ranskalainen (French) and god knows what all for-laine students. The course is challenging for us probably a lot of work to make but hopefully fun. On my second language course, Survival Russian, I was first put off because of lesser number of participants at the beginning of October (until then we should teach even the Russian alphabet () and when! hopefully want to participate, three other students, he also takes place. Please keep your fingers crossed!

we come to the courses that I bring in my studies in Bremen was:) In this first part of the semester are one lecture from the Department of Art and Culture - "Cultural Theory" - and two Self-study courses from the Faculty of Information Technology: "Introduction to Electronic Commerce" and "Human Being and Information System". Two more lectures will be added in the second part of the semester, from late October. So hopefully all very relaxed, so I find the students also have a bit of a Finnish (students) can enjoy life.

Gy6 125cc Engine Valve Clearance

Vaasabär

No snow storm awaits us in Vaasa, but beautiful sunshine and only a little rain. Unfortunately, we then have the city played even with our trip a little prank and did not want to right that we get to see much: the summer season is in almost all places of interest together with the August come to an end, so we all museums, our list were faced closed doors ... So we can at least claim that we have made in the three days in Vaasa all you can do there - and all this was made much walking, sightseeing in Old and New Vaasa, shopping, and sunsets on the beach and evenings playing cards with cider and beer in our hostel rooms. Nice change of scene with many great people and some nice photos .

The Orientation Week, meanwhile, helps me to orient myself in Jyväskylä. The next weekend I will however leave the city again, this time it comes down to Tallinn.

Our WG has also received appreciation, on Saturday is Nadine from the Netherlands arrived and is now the next time to live with us. Now we are probably more likely to speak English at home - is better that we did so before rather strange to talk to so just in German.
